GTD

I am grateful for the gospel! I felt an overwhelming urge to bare my testimony yesterday about my Patriarchal blessing. I talked about how much I love to work with the young women and how my blessing talks about how I would affect the youth. I have one young women in mine/ Janice's Mia Maid class that is not a member and she has struggled in coming to church for many reasons but she knows it is true and where she should be. I called her on Friday and really told her how it is and that she needs to be at church and at mutual. I told her how special she is and that she is definitely missed, that she has a great purpose in being at church, not only for her but for others. I told her how much harder it will be to come back if she stays away any longer! I asked her to pray about it and... She came back Sunday and I believe Fast and Testimony meeting was just for her! Most of the testimonies were geared just for her to hear! I was so happy!

During our phone conversation she mentioned that she had already FINISHED the knew VIRTUE portion ( including the value project of reading the entire Book of Mormon) of personal progress!!! She is really amazing! Some of the young women were grumbling about having to do that project...and here she had gotten it finished in a matter of less than a month! That girl, I tell ya! She reminds me a lot of me when I was her age and she has gone through some similar trials that I did , as well. I know there is great purpose in me being in young women's at this time, for her!

I am grateful for my testimony and for my calling! I am grateful to be a part of her experience! I am grateful for all those who make her feel a part of this ward and of the gospel!

You are really amazing at following the inspiration you get concerning your calling and these young women. You are making an impact that will forever be part of these girls' lives. You are one of THOSE leaders. Keep it up!
