Kole told me today that his right hip was hurting him. I asked what he thought it could be. he said"mom it has happened before, it is growing pains." (How does he know these things?) Then he goes on to explain why it hurts " Your body pressures air into your marrow, the center of your bone, the marrow and the air mixing and expanding together makes bone. The bone grows bigger and longer this way. This process can hurt."
I HAVE NO IDEA IF THIS IS TRUE OR NOT but I think his explanation really cracks me up! Where does this kid learn this stuff? Does he just make it up? Does he get it from Science and adds his own twist on the explanation? With Kole I never know what to think? He reads a whole bunch and seems to really THINK he knows what he is talking about. Kole is my thinker. I wish I could write about his thought process on how babies are made before Robert and i told him how it really works. That was a really side stinger! I totally love this boy of mine who is patiently waiting to snuggle me right at this very moment!

My children have had them also. All of them. Sometimes keeps them up at night.
I'll have to ask Devin if that's how it really happens. Funny Kole!
I love snugly boys. carter is a snuggler too. Kids explinations of things are great.
