Yesterday this was nice but I am starting to get cabin fever! It snowed, yet again, all night here ( well at least every time I woke up it was snowing, heavily). We have approximately 15 inches of snow accumulation, give or take an inch. While it really is very breathtaking to look out my windows and view what appears to be a mountain lodge setting right here in my own back(and front) yard... it is getting a bit ridiculous! I have NEVER seen so much snow in my life in these parts...EVER! It is STILL snowing, heavily, right now??? Robert's car is broken down and he is stuck on the mountain, he got the snowboard teaching position. He will snowboard all day today and get a ride to Beaverton, if he can, to stay with Tim and Danika and Jon and Julie for tonight. Timmy has offered to try to get him home tomorrow but I think he is being overly confident that he can make it here. Maybe he can at least get Robert to Battle Ground and he can walk from there...seriously...I tried to drive just down our road last night so Leavi could feed the dogs Robert promised to take care of for our neighbor and we had to turn back around(even in 4 wheel low) it was INSANE! By the way , my truck is now completely covered in snow(4 inches) again..the bed is completely full too. This has to be some kind of record for the Northwest? I don't have local TV channels so I have no idea what they are saying on the news? My parents won't be able to come for Christmas Eve, likely ( on the Internet weather it say this will keep up until Friday, when it will get up to 40 degrees). That is not enough to melt it all I am afraid. Good thing we have enough food for at least another week...I really hope the power doesn't go out, that would push my sanity over the edge for sure! I am going to wrap all the Christmas stuff today and get that out of the way and organize the last 2 cupboard shelves I have left, then this house will be cleaner than it has been in a year...minus vacuuming ( my vacuum only half way works).

Hey, look at the bright side. At least you've been able to get things done around the house :o) Do you have chains or studded tires? Those seems to be making the big difference around here. We have the same amount of snow and Jon and Timmy have been to work/training everyday. And we have huge hills on either side of us too. Although... probably not nearly as steep as yours. I hope Timmy can get Robert home to you. At least that should help with cabin fever right?? Have fun wrapping presents!!
