We have had snow all day long and it is now at about 6 inches deep. The roads are way too covered and it is getting colder. I hesitated to cancel going out to Tim and Danika and Jon and Julie's house today for our family Christmas party. We were all looking forward to going! We have literally missed everything that has to do with Christmas so far because of bad weather. I felt like I needed to do something Christmassy with the kids today so we baked 4 different kinds of cookies, made bags with them and gave them to our neighbors. The trick will be not eating any of them. Robert has gotten a hotel room in Hood River so he doesn't have to drive(I84 is closed). Church has already been cancelled for tomorrow and my 2 older boys went to their friend, Mathew's house. Mathew's mom, Angela, walked over here in the snow and walked them back to her house. The roads were so bad neither of us was willing to drive up the 2 huge hills between our houses. She offered to walk them back tomorrow but I am wondering if they will be stuck there for a couple of days due to the worse weather we are suppose to get overnight tonight??? Leavi and Kyzen and I are going to watch movies and eat popcorn!

ooooooo so fun!! Snow is just too much fun. I'm sorry Robert isn't home enjoying the movies and popcorn with you! That's a bummer. But at least you get to snuggle up and watch movies with Leavi and Kyzen. I hope we can have a family party soon. It was a bummer we had to cancel it. All of our other (bland and passey) Christmas parties were canceled too. But at least it's pretty outside!!
Sounds like we did the same thing. No we don't live in New Tradition homes, we live up near Annies Berry Farm. My dad built their home on 5 acres. i just went outside and measured and we have 14 inches of snow. Crazy weather!
