Tell me why I ever clean my house again?

So today I got really motivated an decided I would pull all the furniture out and vacuum and mop under everything(haven't done that in a year , at least) . I dusted and got all the cobwebs too. Right after I finished mopping the kitchen(by hand) Kole came in and "neatly" spilled a whole jar of pickles all over the counter and onto the floor????? I Lost it! Then an hour later, after I had just finished the dining room he spilled half a 2 liter of root beer all over the table and onto the floor(ya know it takes a few days to get that sticky off no matter how much you mop it)?????? Then to end my wonderful day Robert and I decided it was time to sweep the chimney...BLACK CREOSOTE EVERYWHERE! So much for dusting and mopping eh? Good thing we swept the chimney though...we have never had that much gunk in the chimney, surprised we didn't have a fire this last winter...WHEW! Isn't that how life works...work hard only to work even harder? NOT VERY FAIR. After some friends that came over today I noticed a huge can of pie cherries just sitting on the floor in the hall upstairs and sat all my kids down to ask who had gotten it out of the pantry and left it in the hallway and ..uhh..WHY???Kole said his friend, Mathew, had gotten it out and Kole didn't know why. I have to put this out there"Why are boys so weird?" They do the strangest things I think...I give up trying to figure it out, maybe I should just sit back and have a good laugh!
