Still wish I could find our camera...BUT

For the sake of journaling I willwrite what Jay got for his birthday and a bit about Jon and Julie and their family coming over last night for dinner and internet/mozilla instruction.

Jaydn got from us : A new snowboard complete with boots and bindings(He is too fast now, he got stopped by ski patrol and told to slow it down HA! HA!), a surfboard( I don't know if I like this one Robert???) , an orange pair of real crocs and 2 movies ( The Beee Movie and Mr. Magorium's Wonder Emporium) From my parents he got : A very nice pocket knife(Which will come in handy for scouts and is bright red so maybe he won't lose it) , an orange and blue plaid tie(He loves orange can you tell?)and a movie(The Water Horse). He had a great birthday this year!

Last night Jon and Julie came over per my invitation and ate good food and then we went up to the computer for some special instruction! I got to learn in one night what they have been trying to learn in a couple of years! I am almost up to speed with the middle clicker and they helped make my firefox toolbar just right, and showed me how to fiddle with it if I want! Julie installed Google reader for me which all of you should have...it is AWESOME! She also showed me how to get my comments on my blog to email to me so I will know when there is a new comment! I could go on and on but in a nut shell...Jon ad Julie saved my internet surfing behind! I am so impressed that even with DSL you can make your searching and piddeling even faster if you figure out "shortcuts"(Those are Jon's words). I just need to get a headset and microphone so I can "call" people on my google talk and all will be well! FYI...anyone who doesn't have google talk is missing out...SO GET IT!

Thanks for inviting us over last night, it was fun. And thanks for letting us tell you a thousand different things and not getting frustrated :o) I tend to get a little excited about these things, when I'm instructing my sister I can only tell her one thing a month... seriously! So thanks for not telling us to "shut it!" it was fun :o) Just remember you can email or chat about the thousands of things we tried to funnel into your brain anytime!!

Happy Birthday Jaydn!!! I'm amazed that he is 12. The party sounded fun and the presents are so great. We had a little party here yesterday for Kaylana. Em and Stacy came for the afternoon and Em brought cupcakes to decorate and water balloons for the kids. It was a hot 80 degree day but as usual here in Tooele it was crazy windy. The kids didn't seem to mind but it was not pleasant! We had fun talking about kids emotions, cleaning projects, the reunion t-shirts and lots of other topics (oh and blond McPhersons!)
