Kyzen loves hard boiled eggs and I don't always have the time to make him one so he decided to take matters into his own hands. Mind you, Robert watched this whole "experiment " and just let him do it!!!! Kyzen put a raw egg(shell and all ) in a bowl with a dribble of water in it , into the microwave. He set the time for 6 minutes(the stove top way is about 8 minutes-10 minutes) . On about minute 4 the whole egg exploded, yes exploded, blowing the microwave door open and sending egg shrapnel everywhere! Robert fiddled with the , now broken, microwave to see if he could get it to work again to no avail. Looks like my next paycheck goes toward a microwave. I wanted a stainless steel one anyway, I guess???
Along with that yesterday I had a banner day: The shower drain in our room is clogged and the hot water is not coming out hot for more than 10 minutes now, I washed some chap stick with one of Leavi's loads, I have , suddenly, a mountain of laundry again(overnight) I tweaked the right side of my lower back(feels like someone yanked out one of my muscles) I forgot my chiropractor appointment, I vacuumed and mopped yesterday to find food and mud all over the floor before I was even done...I LOST IT...Kyzen bashed the back of his head into my eye bone(on accident) leaving me with a black eye(the first time I have ever had a black eye...boy did that hurt!)
All in all it was, as I said, a banner day for Danelle Grossnickle...lucky I am still alive. I said to myself " Well, I guess all this stuff happens to you for a reason???The shear entertainment of those who read this blog." Really, I stopped praying for patience a long time ago but I don't think Heavenly Father is quite done trying to teach me about it yet.
