It was like a seen from

the Twilight Zone when we woke up this morning! It began snowing at about 6:30 am and kept right on until about 11am. We didn't get much accumulation here but in the higher elevations(like where I work) there was about 4 inches! I had to turn around and go home today because the old Mercedes is just not the vehicle to be in when navigating 32 degree snow/slush covered roads. I do love it when it snows(preferably during Winter, however!) because the land just looks so fresh and new and peaceful. I love how snow is white and clean and pure...like a pleasant gift from God! Snow is one of the few Natural happenings that make us stop in our tracks but doesn't disrupt our lives
too terribly(if you have 4 wheel drive or traction devices anyway!) I love it!

Since I got to work in Manzanita at 11 am, it has been snowing and hailing intermittently. However, right now we have a bit of sunshine. Neahkahnie Mountain is breathtaking, all crusted with white.
wow, great pictures! How fun. It's totally amazing to get snow like this at the end of march! It snowed here too, but didn't stick a lot. really exciting for the kids
Why is there always this random snow fall in March... it's getting warm... it's getting warmer... oh wait... crap... here's this snow I forgot earlier this year... enjoy! ... okay... now back to the warm weather. I do agree with you, snow here in Oregon is beautiful!! Have you ever seen Rexburg's snow... it's a wonderful RED color... not quite as pure and lovely (save the first snowfall).
