Robert took Jaydn to bachelor for the free ski day today. Robert loves the sport so much and Bachelor so much that he and Jaydn decided that Jaydn would board on his own most of the day, on Robert approved runs only, and with Robert's cell phone. He was to call and check-in now and then to make sure he was doing well. He had a blast and called me and said that the powder was really great! I am so proud of him for being so responsible and doing what his dad told him to do. He called me on the way home and said that a truck with a man and 3 kids in it rolled over in front of them on the road and another car, with chains, was sliding everywhere but they were doing fine on the road. These boys of mine will risk all and do anything to get some great powder under their boards!
I had a productive day today and just may have managed to get this house mostly clean, miracle of all miracles. I washed our 115 pound dog in my bathtub today. He is huge and black and sheds way too much. I got him in and out and outside without having him shake, truly a miracle! He smells so fresh and clean for now, now I don't want to let him outside to get stinky again. He looks at me with those "please let me sleep in the house "eyes and I can't resist.
I met my friends down at the school for our walking hour today and was in such a hurry to get there that I forgot to change my shoes from my crocs to my New Balance...big mistake! I now have raw skin and blisters on the balls of both feet...was it worth it?I suppose my behind will thank me in the morning.
We have had so much "snow"(Not at our house but in our school district) that school was only open 2 days this week. I need a break...break me off a piece of that Kit-Kat bar!
I got a 3 inch memory foam mattress topper for our bed and ,FYI, I will never leave my bed again, highly recommend it to all with back troubles!

Danelle,
The blog is a great idea! I am so glad you e-mailed the link. It's good to get an update.
Snow? Kids out of school for 3 days? Fun, fun, fun! No snow here in Vegas, but it's still cold in the desert around 29 yesterday morning.
It sounds like all is well and busy up there! I miss ya gal! We are going to have to make it that way again when we can spend more time and see you guys!
Miss ya!
Jen
Danelle,
Thanks for e-mailing me your blog link. I have missed you and the family. The kids sound so old and grown-up!
You are obviously busy and I think that suits you. You have always been someone moving 100 miles a minute.
SNOW? I wish for snow here in Vegas. It's been cold here 29 degrees yesterday, but no snow!
Life has been busy here too. Hunter is a deacon and Hayden is a teacher , Hunter loves it, Hayden just dislikes the kids in our ward and who can blame him? Both of the older boys attend a charter school and hopefully grades will look up this semester :)! Harry is improving in school with supports provided for writing and he will get Occupation Therapy (OT) soon. Hopefully it works better for him than it did for Hayden.
I am back in school for another semester, taking 15 credit this time around. Easy subject matter, so it's not too stressful. I am hoping to be done with school in a year and a half (depends on family needs). After that we are looking to sell our house and move to Wyoming. I know, I know, what about Oregon? I'll tell you the story later when i have more time.
Anyway, I'm off to spend some time with the family before hitting the books!
Take care! I miss ya!
Jen
