Funny , but not funny , story......
2 weeks ago , at church, Robert said to Holly(recently pregnant, by the way...having a boy!Yeah Holly!) ...after she had cut her hair into a cute bob...."I don't like it!" And he smiled and said" I don't want Danelle to get any ideas and cut hers that short." Big smile spread across his face, of course...he thought he was being funny?playful?honest? I DON"T KNOW???
It is important to know that my husband, bless his soul, has NO CLUE when it comes to the socially acceptable way to talk with pregnant women...or any woman for that matter...or to comment on their recent hair choices...clothing choices...whatever...he is in fact...CLUELESS.
Needless to say , after much groveling on my part and apologies galore...Holly really didn't seem to care...WHEW! She did say " I had no idea what he was talking about???" I said " Don't try to figure out what he means, he is an engineer." She said " OH?okay."
That is how I explain any strange or socially weird comments Robert may or may not have or make these days "He is an engineer." It is a blanket statement for all those that think on the other side of their brain....like Robert. The funny thing is that people just nod and laugh...they know what I am talking about if they know an engineer!
I have to love him...I married him...he is my honey...UGGHHH... an ENGINEER indeed!

LOL... Robert Robert Robert... he is just silly. How will he ever know how incredibly sexy you can be if he won't let you chop your hair off?? :o) Men don't know the trouble hair can be! Oh well.
I just laughed and laughed. Robert is so interesting. At least I don't really care what I say around him. He never makes me feel what I say is dumb.
