Funny freezer story

2 weeks ago I was cleaning my friends house ( I deep clean her house every other week), she left me extra money to clean her fridge. I felt like I had extra time so I decided to clean her Freezer too. Nice gesture..right? Well, when I clean my own freezer I always shut it off so I can wipe down the inside and thaw the ice maker. Hers wouldn't shut off but I had put it on zero and emptied the ice-maker. I tossed old stuff and organized the contents and put the ice0maker back in and wiped down what I could. I then finished the rest of her house. After 4 hours I locked up and went home. The family was in Hawaii for 5 more days or so, so no worries right? Ya..right..no worries if I would had remembered to turn the freezer back on...OOPS! But, it gets better....I didn't think about it until a week later when I woke up from a nightmare that I had left the freezer off. Funny( funny odd that is) that I would actually dream about it?? I asked her , wearily, if I had indeed left the freezer off? She had not wanted to tell me, said she never would have said a thing(what a sweetheart!) but I insisted that I would clean her house on me the next time to make up for the lost groceries, which I am sure added up to a lot more than what I earn, but a gesture nonetheless. She really felt bad not paying me but I could not have that "loser" move on my conscience for the rest of my life. It feels good to take responsibility for your "brainless" actions. It was good practice anyway and I don't think I will be doing that again, what do you think?
