Day 5 still...

After Grandma and Grandpa's house we headed over to Midway( about a 15 minute drive from Heber) to visit grandpa Tim. Grandma Jean was still at Stacy's house tending to her after baby was born. Dad, Tim, spent some time showing Leavi and I his composing " machine" and playing some of his creations for us while Kole and Kyzen watched movies. Dad then drove Leavi and I around Midway where we got to see The prophet, President Monson's, home and Elder Holland of the quorum of the twelves home too!!! President Monson's home(top right) was so neat to see. This is where he and his wife spent some time raising their children! They still come here for family things too but they also have an apartment in Salt Lake. I had such a neat experience while seeing where our living prophet lives! I realized that he is a humble servant of God. He is not ostentatious or full of pride but keeps a modest, neat and comely home( not a pour thousands of dollars into remodeling your home so you can be like everyone else)! If our prophet who is so dear to my heart can be such a great example of Christ like living then I will surly follow his example of living within my means and being grateful for what I have. Not trying to be like everyone else around me, it seams, and always wanting more! Elder Holland's home is newer( bottom right) but still very modest in it's nature. I really brought back a lot from this experience of seeing that these men are just like you and I , they live in real homes and lead by their great example! Midway is a beautiful city and probably the only place I have seen in Utah , so far, that I would consider living in:)
