In La Center Elementary for 3rd grade you get to pick a famous person and do a living museum of them. Kyzen chose Leonardo Da Vinci. He read about Leonardo and wrote notes, compiled a report(with daddy's help) and then collected pictures and wrote notes to read about him. I collected this costume from my neighbor( she is amazing). Doesn't he look FABULOUS!( kind of like Santa Claus but whatever)??All the kids LOVED his costume and so did his teacher! I don't particularly look forward to this event each time one of my kids is in 3rd grade but now it is over and we went out with a bang! Leavi was President Hinkley, Jaydn was Pele and Kole was Albert Einstein. Funny how they each picked people that fit their personalities huh?
I must end by saying " I love my boogely, buggely boogery beary , pooky bear booger bun, furley ooks in pooks in BOB!"( yeah I am crazy...he is my baby boy)

Great costume! Lucky you to have that neighbor!
wow, that is so awesome! we would have loved to be there! Can he give us the presentation at a family gathering...please please please? I'm sure he would be delighted to, right?
I think that Living Museum idea is fantastic except for the costuming part. I am amazed at Kyzen's though, how awesome! Cannon was King Charles I so he dressed up as a "knight" but it was pretty obscure for a 5th grader! Rachel was Rachael Carson who fought DDT pesticides back in the 70s. I learned so much!
That is way cool. i love it
