I am grateful for the bounty that the Lord has put on this Earth for us to enjoy! These are lilacs from a tree that was planted here before we moved in 6 1/2 years ago. The tree was so small and didn't have flowers until last year( only like 10 flowers last year) This year it has burst forth in blossom! We cut down 2 huge fir tress in front that were shading so much of our front area and I think the lowly lilac tree has been very happy that she can get light now! The best part of these flowers is that they match my living room walls!!! We have 3 popcorn lilac trees that are white but they are all bloomed out. The smell that wisps across the porch is DIVINE when they are in bloom! I have some Asiatic Lillis as well( I want to add more this year) that smell so wonderful, they should be in bloom in the next couple of weeks! If I could get some fragrant roses that would do me in...I love fragrant flowers! I am grateful for Spring where everything is so alive and the sun is shining! It makes me feel so warm and happy inside:)
