This is my going to be a teenager tomorrow son! He is 5'7 1/2 " tall, weighs 140 pounds, growing hair on his upper lip, voice is getting deeper, won't hug me in public without wincing, becoming more testosterone motivated, excessively private...great student...a Star Scout...what else...wants to drive...and tries to when I am driving( crazy kid). He is my boy, my teenage boy! Thank Heaven for teen age boys!
We took Jaydn and all of the kids to OMSI today after school to see the Da Vinci exhibit( totally boring) and play in the Turbine room(totally obnoxious) Then we went to Pizza a GO GO in Northeast Portland where I , too had a single slice of the world's most delicious pizza! Back home for presents : Money from grandparents, 3 movies, a HUGE hunting knife from daddy, a telescoping fishing pole and an alarm clock that projects the time onto the ceiling! As for the actual birthday: 7:45 am off to merit badge fair, then pick up at noonish, prepare for ward party/sock hop/service auction. Jaydn has requested a "Sunday Dinner" ( Pork roast, mashed potatoes, gravy, beans, peas, corn, homemade rolls and salad...maybe stuffing) for his birthday that he will indeed get on SUNDAY:) Lucky boy. He wants brownies and vanilla ice-cream for his " cake" That is a can-do request!

was it really boring? lame... I have like six free tickets to go... I still think I will. I love free dates.
His voice is getting lower but I didn't want to say anything if it was just my imagination. That dinner sounds scrumptious
