Gratitude in the morning!

I am so grateful that my children are willing to wake up and come into my room for scripture study in the early AM hours! It is such a wonderful start to the day to get right into the scriptures and have our family prayer right away. I notice that my day always goes smoother when we begin it with the word of GOD! We decided to study the new testament (not chronologically but cover to cover ) We just finished St. John today and we will begin the Acts tomorrow..it is going really well! If I am brave enough(just kidding) we are going to do the Old Testament next with the study guide and in Chronological order this time. Lastly we are going to read the Doctrine and Covenants and the Pearl of Great Price. I want to be able to say I have read every word of all 4 standard works for once in my life:) I have read the Book of Mormon many times but not every word of the rest of the scriptures so I am excited to take it all in!
