I am feeling very sleepy and groggy all day today? I haven't had meds for my back in 3 days and I feel great as far as back pain but I am sleepy sleepy sleepy? I tried to get into making applesauce today but the apples were too sweet and made very bad sauce...wasted effort there:( I did mop my kitchen and do the dishes...and made sprouted wheat pancakes that everyone loved???I just made them up...no recipe, bet I won't do it right again for at least 3 more tries...that's how I cook:) I had all the best intentions of getting tons of stuff done and all my house caught up again(I love how that feels) but today is a wash ...however... I am grateful for last night...Robert chopped off the top of our entertainment center and I sanded it and we raised the TV so we can see it without having someones leg in the way ...that is progress! We watched Passage to Zarahemla ( borrowed it from people in our ward) it was a typical Mormon movie. Can anyone tell me why Mormons go and make movies about ourselves to make us look like geeky idiots to the rest of the world. The family was by far the cheesiest family on earth...so Corny...come on Mormon Hollywood I know you can do better and put us real mo's in some good light here folks! I promise if any of you out there that are not Mormon read this...know this we are not Cheese balls like our weird Mormon movies depict! I thought the premise of the movie was a good idea...combining Book of Mormon times with present day(Could have been done really well!!!) ...cross over rift effect...great idea but hello cheese fest! So I give it a 2 thumbs down...not worth the time it took to watch it:( I think after "Singles Ward" the Mormon movie industry has just gone way down hill...too bad it would be a great way to let the rest of the world know we are sane good normal people) If I had a million dollars I would make me a great Mormon movie...people would watch it and love it and realize we are cool folk!
Anybody game to give me a million dollars to make a go of it?
