Football is over...right on into Basketball!

Jaydn had his last game last night! (I confess I am SOOOO glad football is over!) He played mostly the last half of the game. In the fourth quarter he "sacked" the QB resulting in negative yardage for the other team( the coach played him for the rest of the game so that was a good reward)! I have NO idea what that means and I also confess I didn't see it due to not being able to follow the game very well ( FYI it is really hard to follow your own kid when they are wearing helmets and they get taken out and put in like every other play WHEW!) but I am proud of him because he was so excited about it!

Moving right along Leavi starts basketball next Wednesday! Then as soon as she is done all my boys start right after Christmas break...good thing Jaydn will finally be playing Middle School ball which means games in the week not Saturdays...yay! Robert and I will be able to make all of Kole and Kyzen's games this time! 2 parents finally equally divided:) I am just praying that Jaydn makes the 7th grade team and not the C team...there is a lot of competition this year...a ton of 7th grade boys that are great basketball players so he is going to have to train from now until then to be good enough! Jay is an excellent defensive player(maybe he gets that form his dad seeing as how Robert goes out there and hurts people on the court...literally!) But he doesn't have much of a lay in or free throw yet...his dribbling skills could use some a somethin as well! Leavi needs desperately to become mean and ugly for she is way to nice when she plays ball...she has been working on her lay ins and they are looking good:) Dribbling is always an issue...I don't know how to toughen her up??? Any suggestions?

Kole has hurt his ankle so I think soccer is over for him this year ( well... secretly I hope it is...did I just say that?OOPS SHHH don't tell K?) Really, I love to sit in the freezing rain and watch 11-12 year olds play soccer, doesn't everyone? HEE HEE!
