Family Home Evening

Last night Robert decided to invite our family over to our neighbors house to see his pictures and share our pictures of Yellowstone and Glacier. Steve(our neighbor) is a professional photographer with thousands of dollars worth of equipment and he and his wife just got back from Glacier and did Yellowstone last year. He had his pictures all wonderfully done on Blue Ray DVD set to music...absolutely the most gorgeous pictures you have ever seen! He is an srtist..his are all senic..no people. Ours wouldn't load right so we only got to see about 300 of them but it was so fun to watch on his 60 inch flat panel TV he had hooked up to his computer! Lois(his wife) made bowls of ice cream for all of us and I had brought them a plate of rice crispie treats. Steve has a very cool monopoly game on his computer that my boys immmediately wanted to stay and play on 60 inch big screen heaven! It was so fun to share the evening with them. they are retired so a "last minute" invitation was no problem. I love having them as neighbors and now I know who to get to take our family picture! Oh Steve also showed us their trip to Banff, Canada...very magestic mountains and amazing scenery! He had an album of his pictures that he has taken since Lois and he met...he had a picture of a red deflated ballon in the sand that was amazing! How do people see these amazing things? What talent right next door! The lesson here is get to know your neighbors they are probably amazing people!
