Kole's birthday

I managed to get one picture off last night before our only battery died..UGHGHG! Kole got his very own Ripstick from my mom and step-dad. He also got the 2 latest Percy Jackson and the Olympians books ( bbok 3 and 4) He was so excited! He has been waiting for a year to read book #3 and he was surprised to see that in that time #4 had come out...BONUS! We gave him a BB gun and a leatherman(I think that uncle Timmy had given Robert to give to Kole sometime?). He had already gotten some goodies on his actual birthday(all from his list)! I think he had a great time this year. Birthdays are all about the "magic" for me these days. Robert doesn't quite get it...he wants to get them practical stuff like hiking poles. I am not dogging him but when I was a kid I looked forward to my birthdays and the presents, the hope of getting something I really wanted,(I know that is not what "it" is all about but it is fun!) They are only kids for a short time and when I, as their mommy, can get them something they really want from their cute little birthday list...AHHH what a fun feeling:)Being a grandma must ROCK! For this very reason...LUCKY grandmas!
