GTD # 17

#17. I am grateful I have time during the day to work at keeping up this house!
I have been staying home a lot more lately and working hard to get this house totally clean and organized so I can keep it up and not be so stressed and overwhelmed. I believe that staying at home and not going out into the work force is crucial for every mom everywhere. I , frankly, don't know how any woman does it? I was working about 15 hours a week and couldn't keep up with anything...my house literally fell apart and so did I! There is good reason why we are counseled to stay at home and nurture and care for our children and husbands. A lesson well learned for me. Extra money is not worth losing my mind over...I would rather go without some things that I want to ensure that I am SANE and my family gets fed every night and we have clean clothes to wear. I was beginning to feel like I could never get on top of life.

A good quote that my visiting teacher told me today (her mom used to say it a lot) "Let go and Let God!" I totally love that! I can feel Him carrying me at times when I am about ready to quit! Ask yourself this "Why not let Him carry me all of the time?" There is an AHA moment for ya!
