Yesterday while my friends and I were walking we saw an apple tree in someone's yard that had a sign that said " Free apples anywhere on tree:)" So after our walk we all went right up there and picked 3-4 bags each. Angela and I went back after school got out and with her ladder got almost all of the rest of the apples. Today Angela came over and we made and canned 50 quarts together. It was so much nicer to have help...made it go by much faster! We each get 25 quarts which is nice and it was free(except lids and sugar)!!!! I am hoping to get at least another 25 quarts before the season is over and I am hoping to get some free pears this week!
