The craft was not organized well and we had only 2 hours on the last day to do this. The person in charge thought we could have the girls cut these out of wood and paint them and ink them and put the vinyl on and embellish them....150 girls...NUTS! Then when we did a dry run the first day with the YCL's the lady's 2 saws got blown up because the electricity was wired wrong. We were left with only my scroll saw to cut out 150 of these babies. Sister Grossnickle(me) saved the day! I cut out all 150 with the help of my first, Cherilyn Mitchell(another Camp Director). We managed to get 3 hours to try to paint and embellish them. I had a HUGE headache at the end. I had to stand with a hairdryer for most of the time to dry them so the vinyl could be put on...NUTS! In the end at least 130 girls got theirs done and the others got most of it done. I hope they actually hang them on their walls and not throw them in the garbage:)
I am going to re-think the craft for next year, but the lady who does these professionally was really good with the girls and she was Leavi's cabin mom. Leavi came home with the cutest stuff from her she was awesome! Yay cabin moms!

Hey that turned out cute! I can't imagine having to cut out 150 of those!! Go Danelle!!!
That sounds beastley, but at least there are people in this church (like you) who will move with the situation and make it better instead of standing on the sideline and be critical. They turned out cute and good job for all your hard work!
