My mom had emergency eye surgery Saturday night.

My mom has had bad eyes since she was born(at 22 ounces you are bound to have some sort of problems right?) She has very weak retinas, detached in one eye. She was barely able to see due to a ton of blood floating around in her eye and it got so bad last week that she went in to have emergency surgery Saturday evening at about 9pm. She had the vitrius solution removed and replaced with a gas and a band placed permanently around her eye to hold it's shape better. She can't see yet but they said it would be about 2-8 weeks before she could see better. She also has a small cataract that might cause some problems and may need to be removed in the future. She is in a lot of pain and has to take it easy for a while. Her 61st birthday is this Saturday and she wants to go to the beach for a few hours, funny that she likes the beach and I don't huh? I just wanted everyone to keep her in their prayers at least once , she would appreciate the prayers on her behalf. We are so blessed to have so many advances in eye care over the past 20 years, my om would be blind right now if it weren't for these medical miracles!
