Quickly, I must write that one of our baby chicks(the one I thought wouldn't make it) died, peacefully, last evening. She will be burried in my flower garden as to be surrounded by beauty all summer long. A moment of silence for Tiny, a chick that just wasn't strong enough:(...........................

I won't tell Devin; it would make him too sad. By the way, thanks for changing your colors! Look, I'm leaving a comment! (:
Baby chicks are quite fragile. When I was a kid, Dad would bring home baby chicks for me around Easter time. We put them into a cardboard box with food and water, but not light. None survived and I would be heartbroken. You are doing a much better job.
Poor baby chick, they are so cute but oh so fragile. Last year Rachel's class had baby chicks in their Kindergartgen class with help from USU. They were so sweet and all the kids loved the chirping that took place all day long. Rachel's teacher let Rachel, Devon and I take one out and hold it while all the other kids were out of the classroom. It was so sweet to hold and so soft. Devon dropped it and I almost fainted! We loved her teacher for being so thoughtful!
