After helping Tim, Danika, Jon and Julie move on Saturday we came home and I attempted to "dig" out my strawberries from last year. Robert bought me 8 more plants this year and they needed to be planted. I spent 4 hours of digging and pulling and hoeing and here they are. They don't look
like much but I see there are plenty of flowers on them. I am going to build a box around them and put netting over that so the wildlife doesn't indulge itself on the berries when they are ready. We also have a long row of raspberries( 2 different kinds) that will bare plenty of fruit this year!!! My ultimate goal is to have several apple trees, some cherry trees, pear trees, more blueberry bushes, more raspberries, twice as many strawberries and a huge garden at some point. It is a lot of work but I love it.
