Robert spent a month getting this fabulous Honda to run for me! I had to take a picture as soon as I was done cleaning it...it still needs restorative paint treatment and a good coat of wax but it is in pretty good shape and today I took it out to get the kids from school...it scurried up those hills and not a single car passed me...I am the happiest woman in the world and it only cost us $1000 that we paid cash for:) I love a good deal and I am so very grateful that my husband can fix cars and keep them on the road for us what a deal! The funny part is the whole "full circle thing" with the fact that this is the very car we owned 5 years ago(except this one is automatic...such a plus for me:) and couldn't justify fixing..funny how life does weird twists and turns. This makes 15 years of never owing money on a car (except one month when we had a Toyota Camry that I still dream about but we sold for $500 than we bought it for) and I think this will be car number 5 or 6 for us that we could actually make money on if we sold it...there is a happy and warm and fuzzy feeling for ya! Now I get to clean and sell the Suburban and the Mercedes. I might actually be able to make a trip to Utah in this baby...YIPPIE!( We have to test it out for a couple of months to see if anything else is wrong with it before we think about road trips but I am hoping that come March I might be able to come visit the Utahans....:)
