Hello Max!

Many of you know our dog, Max. I have had pity on him this winter and have strated training him to be on his rug so I can let him in the house. He is doing very well. Sometimes he sneaks into the garage to sleep on the couch out there but for the most part he stays right on the rug. we forgot to tie him to the door a few nights ago and he was still on the rug when I came downstairs in the morning. I wouldn't be able to have such a huge, hairy dog in the house if it were not for this new discovery. Max is getting up in years, for a dog(He is 6)...especailly for such a large dog(average life span is 10 years). He is strating to show signs of old dog age by not being able to get up as fast so with the clod weather I thought it would make him feel better to sleep in warm conditions. He realy feels like he is part of the family now. In fact he gets jealous of Kyzen when I sit dwon at the table and give him hugs and kisses. Max comes over and licks my face and whines and get very hyper...like..."Pet me, Pet me Pet me...I am your kid too you know?" Max has been such a good dog and fine addition to our family. Not many people know this but when we first moved here and got him I had back surgery and petting him gave me such help with feeling depressed. Animal therapy is so helpful and very powerful in helping us , as humans, heal. Big thanks to Max for being there for me when I need it and for being a good dog.

This makes me miss Anton... he would do that same thing... Max and Anton were great pals... I'm glad that you are being nice to Max and letting him sleep inside... I'm sure his little doggy heart is leaping for joy.
